This summer I took part in a photo competition. It was a competition dedicated to hundred year birthdays of Finland and Estonia. Estonians were welcomed to submit photos about how they see Finland and Finnish in return photos about how they see Estonia.
I am happy to say, that two of my photos made it to the competition finale:

Photo taken in Lomasaari Marttinen near Virrat (2014)
Photo taken near Helsinki (2017)
From the moments caught on the photos, the jury selected 50 photos from Estonia and 50 from Finland and an exhibition of “100 moments” from two close neighbors and how they see each other, was born. And one my photo made it to the exhibition as well! :)

Merimies sumussa. Kuva on ottetu Helsingin lähellä.
The sailor in the fog. Despite the thick mist on the Gulf of Finland, the sea was unprecedentedly calm, silent and beautiful that evening. In many ways, similar to the Finnish (and also the Estonian) people nature – modestly mysterious and reserved, but adventure and life-loving, The photo is taken near Helsinki.
Exhibition will be up in Estonia and in Finland:
Viru Keskus, Tallinn, November 3rd to 19th, 2017
Tartu Kaubamaja, November 23rd to December 8th, 2017
Sanomatalo, Helsinki, January 25th to February 11th, 2018
